This year marks the re-introduction of the signature 8â€™ gingerbread house as part of the new Grand Gingerbread Village in Fountain Circle, the, which will feature houses from one local fire department, all Kyrene elementary schools and the Childrenâ€™s Museum of Phoenix. The Grand Gingerbread Village will be on display from November 16, 2009 to January 3, 2010 and will have special appearances by Santa every Saturday from Thanksgiving to Christmas.
Additionally, November 12 through December 22, 2009 at the new Marketplace CafÃ©, Executive Pastry Chef Rugel will offer a new selection of mouth-watering desserts to-go described as â€œclassics with a twist.â€Â Ongoing traditions include Thanksgiving brunch buffet (11/26), â€œTamales to Goâ€ (11/27 - 12/31), Christmas brunch (12/25) and a New Yearâ€™s Eve celebration (12/31).
