In April 2009, Grossman Company Properties unveiled the completely re-designed Arizona Grand Resort following a $52-million redevelopment project inspired by the developer’s passion for the popular Valley destination that paired elegance with casual fun. The Arizona Grand Resort’s re-design process began in 2007 with exterior and landscaping improvements, a new property lighting concept as well as guest suite enhancements. In 2008, the re-design included all 640 guest suites, additions to the spa and athletic club, the golf course and the addition of the Arizona Grand Villas, adding 100 luxury residential-style accommodations to the Resort’s room inventory. Designed as the heartbeat of the Resort, a new 25,000-square-foot lobby was built featuring the Resort’s newest dining venues, The Lobby Grill and The Lobby Bar, as well as the Marketplace Café, the Golf Pro Shop and the Resort Shops.
“Over the past year, the local community has really embraced us,” said Arizona Grand Resort Managing Director Richard Behr. “To show our appreciation we want to offer guests ongoing opportunities to enjoy every aspect of the resort and create lasting memories during their stay with us.”
