Arizona Grand Resort Adds New Director of Sales and Marketing

Greg Waters set to help launch grand opening of resort


PHOENIX, Ariz. - (August 15, 2008) - Arizona Grand Resort, a member of Preferred Hotels and Resorts® Ultimate Luxury Collection, today announced the addition of Greg Waters as Director of Sales & Marketing. Waters will be responsible for implementing marketing and sales strategies for groups, meetings and special events.

Formerly of the Royal Palms Resort and Spa, the Arizona Biltmore Resort and Spa and the Wigwam Resort, Waters brings more than 25 years of experience in the hotel industry to the Arizona Grand Resort team. Among his accomplishments for resort properties, Waters successfully created a marketing campaign to launch a $12 million renovation, achieved a AAA five diamond rating and was instrumental in drawing group business from the Canadian market. He holds degrees from the University of Saskatchewan and Kelsey Institute of Applied Arts & Sciences and is currently a resident of Goodyear, Arizona.
