Arizona Grand Celebrates Christmas in July
Arizona Grand will celebrate Christmas a little early this year – six months early in fact.
PHOENIX, Ariz. - (July 9, 2008) - Arizona Grand Resort, a member of the Preferred Hotels & Resorts® Ultimate Luxury Collection, will celebrate Christmas a little early this year - six months early in fact. The resort will host its "Christmas in July" event, complete with snow and Santa Claus, at the Oasis Water Park the weekend of July 25 - 27.

Winter will arrive Saturday at 9:00 a.m. as snow is brought onto the Oasis Island to glimmer in the summer sun. Summer Santa will make an appearance on Saturday and Sunday on the Oasis Spiral.
The Christmas in July celebration will run all weekend long. A variety of activities and entertainment will be available including a steel drum band, balloon artists, caricatures, magicians and dive-in movies. Dr. Seuss' How the Grinch Stole Christmas will be shown on Friday, July 25 and Polar Express on Saturday, July 26. All dive-in moves begin at 8:00 p.m. Each day the Oasis will offer a lunch buffet from 11:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m. featuring items such as burgers, brats and salad, as well as a build-your-own ice cream sundae bar. A specialty drink for adults will be served all weekend called the "Grown-Up Candy Cane," which is a mix of vodka, peppermint schnapps, grenadine and lemon lime soda served over crushed ice with a candy cane garnish.
