Labor Day at Oasis Water Park
The kids may be back in school but summer isn’t over yet! At Arizona Grand Resort & Spa we’re still celebrating the season by extending the party through Labor Day. All summer long Oasis Water Park has been transformed into Island Nights each weekend, bringing family-friendly entertainment to resort guests. Labor Day weekend marks the conclusion of our Island Nights celebration for the summer and we’re closing the season with a bang! We love three day weekends, and we think you deserve to take full advantage of the final summer holiday.
Island Nights brings resort guests together for a themed buffet, $17 for adults and $10 for children, puts you in the spotlight for our DJ Dance Party and invites you to grab a tube and float with friends while you catch a flick. All summer long we’ve been showing animated feature films under the stars, but this Labor Day weekend we’re giving the movies an out-of-this-world twist. Families are invited Friday night join us for an All-American BBQ Buffet, get their groove on at the DJ Dance Party and enjoy the showing of Monsters vs. Aliens under the intergalactic night’s sky. Saturday night we switch up the menu with flavors from South of the Border, then salsa the night away and see a story of space, love and friendship with Wall-E. Sunday night the party keeps going! We’ll be feasting on a Hawaiian inspired Island Nights buffet including our chef’s famous show-roast Kahlua pulled pork and Huli-Huli barbequed chicken. Hit the dance floor one last time and compete for prizes with your best back-bend in the limbo contest and then escape to an alien adventure with Planet 51 on the big screen. The bartenders at Oasis Bar will be keeping things cool with specials throughout the festivities -- they might even be coaxed into concocting a Mission to Mars Bloody Mary, or a Cosmic-Cosmo.
We know that Labor Day marks the traditional end to summer but not the warm Arizona weather, so we are keeping the fun going every weekend at Oasis Water Park though October. Open Saturday and Sunday from 11am-4am, guests can experience all the thrills of our three thrilling 8-story water slides, Zuni Active River, wave pool and more! Oasis Bar & Grill will be open and ready to dish up cool warm weather treats and refreshing cocktails.
