A Spring Training Grand Slam
Take me out to the ballgame! Or don’t. Either way you can still get all of the Spring Training fun here at Arizona Grand Resort all March long. You may think of St. Patrick’s Day as the main March event – but here in AZ nothing says March like Spring Training. Starting March 2nd the state is populated with baseball teams and fans alike. Even if you aren’t a big baseball fan the warm weather, great food and cold drinks will bring you out of your winter hibernation. Our favorite parts of the Spring Training atmosphere are the hot dogs, Cracker Jacks and the traditional 7th inning stretch – so naturally we have created a spa treatment, hot dog and a cocktail to celebrate!

When you walk into any of the ten Phoenix, Arizona stadiums the sweet smell of caramel corn fills the air – and we LOVE it! So, we wanted to create a grown-up version of this nostalgic childhood treat. The Cracker Jack cocktail can be found exclusively at the Lobby Bar throughout March for $9. Frangelico and Amaretto are the all-stars of the drink, while a splash of butterscotch schnapps brings back the memory of licking your fingers clean after caramel corn. Just in case you can’t make it to Arizona Grand Resort for Spring Training season we want to share our secret recipe so you can have the spirit of the season in your own home.
1 oz. Frangelico
1 oz. Amaretto
3 oz. Cream
Splash of Butterscotch Schnapps
Crushed Cracker Jacks
Swipe rim of the glass with simple syrup and dip into the crushed Cracker Jacks. Combine Frangelico, Amaretto, Schnapps and cream in a shaker. Mix and strain into a glass with rocks and top with three Cracker Jacks.
If you are still looking for something to fill your hunger for baseball fare the “Hot Dog” Hoagie at the Lobby Bar is sure to feed your appetite for only $12.50. A Kosher split frank is topped with pastrami, caramelized onions, banana peppers, horseradish, stone ground mustard, and smoked cheddar all on a warm hoagie.
If “Play Ball!!” sends your muscles into a frenzy maybe a more relaxing spa treatment is in order. Whether playing the game or watching from the lawn a good stretch never hurt anyone. In honor of a tradition that is as old as the game itself the 7th Inning Stretch Massage is a perfect way to relieve any tension. For 50 minutes an expert massage therapist will stretch your tired muscles and work out any knots. This sports massage specially priced at $95 works for the pro athlete or the spring breaker hitting our Oasis Water Park slides during the day. Swing on over to Arizona Grand Spa to get in on the action.
Get it while they’re hot! These specials only last as long as Spring Training season— through March.
